Can you tell me what alcohol and mixers I need to buy?

Yes, we can email you a customized shopping list which correlates to the number of guests you will be having at your party.

How many bartenders will I need for my event?

We recommend 1 bartender per 50-60 guests for a full service bar, and 1 bartender per 100 guests for beer and wine only.

 Are you licensed?

Our bartenders are Responsible Vendor Certified for the state of Louisiana. This means they have completed a course related to serving alcohol safely.  As a private party bartending service, we are not selling alcohol, only our services.  Thus, no licensing is required. 

 How many years experience do you have?

We have 10 years of experience in the beverage and hospitality industry. 

Do you offer any discounts?

We are currently offering FREE custom printing of cocktail menus which can be displayed on your bar at the party.  We also offer complimentary party consultations right up until the night of your event.  We periodically offer promotional discounts on our Facebook page so please check there.

What payment methods do you accept?

 We accept cash, check, or credit card via PayPal.

What do you wear?

Our bartenders come professionally attired.  This means they wear black slacks, a button down shirt, tie, and name tag. We love to have a good time and fit your party's theme, so if there is an outfit we can wear to fit the party, let us know!

How do I reserve my event date with BA2BE?

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required immediately following your booking with us.  An invoice will be sent to you via email, directing you to our PayPal option, located on our website. Your deposit will be applied to your final balance.

How do I tip my bartenders at a private party?

Tips are customary in the bartending business so we offer our customer two options:

1. Allow a tip jar to be placed on the bar for guests.

2. Hosted gratuity ($2-3 per person)

Who makes sure that the guests do not have too much to drink?

Our bartenders are trained in alcohol awareness through the state of Louisiana.  However, the host of the event is ultimately responsible for all invited guests and their actions.  Big Apple 2 Big Easy reserves the right to refuse service to any guest(s) who seem to have had too much to drink, per our judgment.  In addition, BA2BE reserves the right to ID anyone who appears to be under 30 years of age.

Are you insured?  Can I purchase private liability insurance for my party?

Big Apple 2 Big Easy Bartending is a limited liability company (LLC).  This means that BA2BE's personal financial liability is limited to a fixed sum.  Yes! you can purchase third party insurance for your event.  We recommend a company like privateeventinsurance.com. 

How do I know which service package to choose?

This is a personal choice based upon the vision you have for your party.  We have outlined what our service packages include as we as sample amounts of guests they match up with.  Our staff has worked many parties and we will gladly help you navigate this planning piece!

Can I call you more than once before my party with additional questions?

Of course!  We want you to have a wonderful party, so do not hesitate to call us with questions as they arise.
